Marie-Louise Elhabre, currently Chief Strategic Development Officer (CSDO) for the AXA Group's Europe & Latin America market, is taking over as CEO of AXA Partners, replacing Jef Van In who has decided to leave the AXA Group, having served in various strategic roles over the last 12 years. Marie-Louise Elhabre’s appointment will be effective as of 24 July 2023.

As part of his new role on the AXA Group's Management Committee, Guillaume Borie, CEO of AXA France, will oversee AXA Partners. Marie-Louise will report to him directly and will sit on AXA France’s Executive Committee as a permanent guest.


Biography

Marie-Louise Elhabre has a PhD in Seismology from Centrale-Supélec and an engineering degree from the same institute. She began her career in 2000 with Accenture working in financial services and insurance products.
She joined the AXA group in 2009. She first served in various management positions, engaged in transforming AXA Group Solutions and driving its performance. In 2013, she was appointed head of the Change Management department at AXA France, before taking over the reins of Operational Excellence. In 2015, she was appointed Senior Vice President in charge of financial operations at AXA Business Services in India. Two years later, she was appointed CEO. At the same time, in 2019 she took over as sole director of AXA Headquarters. Since February 2020, she has been Chief Strategic Development Officer (CSDO) for the AXA Group's Europe & Latin America Market.
